Barrel Strainers (also known as open body rigging screws, tensioners, straining screws, turnbuckles or adjusters) are used to adjust the tension in Line Wire or rope for Fencing and Shade Sails. Suitable for all general rigging applications. Undo the two bolts from the barrel, hook the barrel strainer onto a screw-in vine eye or a bolt on the eye, depending on your application. Feed the line wire through the round hole and twist back onto line wire for about 8cm (3") or use a suitable fixing then using pliers or spanner turn the main barrel body to tighten and strain the wire. Recommended 1 x strainer per 10 linear metres of wire.
